Shore Hospitality was formed in 2010 by Mark Cholewka, a distinguished chef having cooked for some of the world’s most well-known personalities including Fidel Castro, Bill Clinton and Lee Kwan Yew. After working as the Group Operations Director for Igors Group and opening multiple venues with them, Mark ventured out opening several successful restaurants of his own including Shore, The Salted Pig and Cull ‘N Pistol. In addition to expanding the Shore Hospitality stable, Mark and his team have consulted and managed several different successful restaurant brands in Hong Kong. Mark firmly believes that the term ‘hospitality’ defines it all for him – thus ensuring that Shore Hospitality aims to constantly provide people with the best quality food for the best prices in fantastic venues.

Shore’s executive chef, Christopher Kerr started his career in Australia over 2 decades ago and has spanned the globe working in Michelin star restaurants in London, West Indies and now Hong Kong, explaining that his entire culinary experience has been eye-opening in terms of the true meaning of hospitality, with the highlight of his journey being able to see Shore Hospitality grow from 2 restaurants to 6 outlets under 3 brands. Chris describes his food style as minimalistic yet thought-provoking with fresh, clean and uncomplicated flavours.

In addition to opening its own restaurants, Shore Hospitality also acts as a valued consultant to up and coming entrepreneurs looking to open their own restaurant. With a highly skilled team of restaurant professionals, the Shore team is fully equipped to manage venues from concept to cash-up. The company is constantly looking for new opportunities in the Asian region to expand its current brands such as The Salted Pig in the near future.
